International Business

This field of study focuses on building a knowledge base of the major functional areas of business and developing an understanding of business activities across national boundaries. An emphasis is placed on the organization and tasks of management, accounting, finance and marketing. Areas including importing/exporting, international trade, foreign investments, international banking, exchange rates, international law and global cultural issues are explored. Career options are found in corporations, banks, investment firms, hospitality and travel organizations and government agencies.
